About

As I child I lived all across the northern United States, spending time in Iowa, North and South Dakota, Minnesota, New Hampshire, and eventually Wenatchee, WA. I graduated from Wenatchee High School in 1983, and attended the University of Hawaii @ Manoa on a tennis scholarship, graduating in 1988 with a bachelor’s degree in Zoology.  I met my wife Mary (Bailey) shortly after graduation, started a career in Entomology at Washington State University Tree Fruit Research and Extension Center in Wenatchee, and have been busy raising three great kids ever since.
